What are NCR Forms?
Multiple sheets form a "set". Write on the top sheet with a pen and it is duplicated to all the copies below without the need for carbon paper.
A "Duplicate" or 2 part set, has two sheets of carbonless paper.
A "Triplicate" or 3 part set, has three sheets of carbonless paper.
A "Quadruplicate" or 4 part set, has four sheets of carbonless paper.
What are NCR Sets, Pads and Books?
These terms refer to how the sheets/sets are bound together.
Tip glued NCR Set
Each set is glued individually.
The loose sets are supplied in a box.
Gummed NCR Pad
Sets are gummed together in a pad.
Sets are removed from the pad after use.
The supplied cover is used as a writing shield.
Tape bound NCR Book
Sets are perforated and wire stitched into a book.
Top and middle sheets are removed after use.
The bottom sheet is (optionally) fixed in the book.
Loose writing shields are supplied.
I prefer a personal service. Do I have to order online?
No, you do not have to order online.
Online ordering is provided for your convenience and to streamline the ordering process.
But we are always happy to deal with you in person.
How long will my order take?
This varies depending on the size and complexity of your order and our workload. However basic orders are normally despatched within 3-8 working days of proof approval.
If you have a deadline or you have run out please get in touch as we can usually fast-track urgent orders and give firm delivery dates.
Our job control system will automatically keep you updated by email and (optional) SMS as your order progresses.
What level of quality can I expect?
We guarantee that your printing will be at least up to the normal professional standards prevailing throughout the printing industry.
We don't supply a "bargain basement" product.
We constantly check your job thoughout the production process and faulty work is discarded and re-done as a matter of policy.

What sort of service can I expect?
Though we are in many ways highly automated we are still very much an "artisan" process.
Your job is actually produced by a person at every stage.
Consequently we offer a personal service involving careful attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
At all times throughout the production process there will be someone who is familiar with the intracacies of your job.
Do you guarantee your product?
Of course.
If there's something wrong with your printing and it's our fault then we'll re-print the job.
If this isn't viable we'll give you your money back.
Do you supply proofs?
Yes. We always supply proofs for any artwork or alterations originated by us.
We will not print until you have approved your final proof by email.
Do you print digitally?
No, we are Litho only. We utilise modern computerised litho presses for full colour and pantone print.
Litho is the cheapest, fastest and best quality printing method currently available.

This machine is fast, economical and produces hardly any waste.
Can I supply my own artwork files?
Yes. We are very experienced in handling customer files and will always fully flight-check before printing.

How will I be invoiced?
Our system will automatically email a detailed VAT invoice in PDF format when your order is despatched.
Can I collect my printing?
Yes, of course. If you intend collecting please let us know when ordering and if you order on line use the "Offline Payment" method so we can manually issue an invoice without delivery charges.
Do you offer "Free Delivery"?
Obviously there is no such thing. It's just a question of where the delivery costs are loaded into the price.
We itemise delivery throughout the ordering process so that can see exactly what you are paying and that you only pay for the delivery you need.
Delivery is calculated according to the total consignment weight in your basket.
This means that if you have several items delivered together you only pay one delivery charge rather than a full delivery charge per item.
Plus, if you collect you will pay no delivery at all.
